We Love Serving Our Community
As an Oromo Christian congregation, we are more than a Sunday gathering. Throughout the week we worship, study God’s Word, raise our children in faith, and care for one another and those in need — both here in Trøndelag and Ethiopia.

Our goal is to reach those in our community who are suffering — whether from hardship, oppression, or being far from home. We work to build hope, faith, and better lives together in Christ.
As a congregation, we care for one another and for those in need — both here in Norway and among our people abroad. We have supported communities affected by hardship and conflict, and we continue to reach out with prayer, fellowship, and practical help.
ALL ABOUT JESUS
What We Believe
We are an Evangelical congregation. We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of the world, and we hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. We believe that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed in Scripture alone.
Jesus Is Lord
We confess Jesus Christ, true God and true man, crucified and risen, as the only Savior of the world. Salvation is God’s free gift, received by faith and not earned by works.
God Is Love
God meets us in His Word and Sacraments. In Holy Baptism He gives new birth and welcomes us into His family, and in Holy Communion Christ gives us His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.
The Spirit Empowers
The Holy Spirit creates faith through the Gospel, gathers us as the Church, and sends us to share Christ’s love with all people — across language, culture, and nation.

THE CHURCH
We are a church that believes in Jesus & loves God and people
Our congregation was founded in 2009 to gather Oromo believers in Trøndelag and to serve God’s kingdom together. We come together to worship, to hear God’s Word in our own language, to pray for one another, and to raise the next generation in the faith.
As Oromo Evangelical church, the heart of our gathering is the Gospel: God’s free gift of grace in Jesus Christ, proclaimed in preaching and given in the Sacraments. Our unity is in Christ, our strength is in the Gospel, and our hope is in our Lord Jesus Christ.
